Faith Communities
For over twenty years, my call has been to help individuals and churches figure out God’s call, discover how they are gifted, see where and how they are motivated, and assist them in linking all of that to every aspect of their lives. My heart’s desire is to connect people and organizations with the resources and encouragement they need to be their best. This has looked like everything from coaching and teaching to consulting and leadership development of pastors, church staff, and faith-based teams. I am currently on staff as Director of EquipConnectServe Ministries of a congregation of 1,200 in Boulder, Colorado, in addition to working as a life and leadership coach, facilitator, and consultant.
What church leaders are saying …
“Dear Shirley!
My heart is overflowing with delight and hope! Thank YOU for your gracious gift of time and sharing your insights, stories, and experience and abundant encouragement. You have given us much to chew on and inspired us to surrender this to God in prayer and trust he will lead us in his kingdom work. We are so grateful to you and your generosity…can’t wait to be in touch again!”
“Dear Shirley,
On behalf of the Leadership team at (our church), thank you for such insightful and practical teaching on spiritual gifts. We were honored and blessed to have you with us, and look forward to the next time our paths cross. “Releasing” was a key theme and blessing from your time with us.”
“Shirley,
Praise God for your Gifts and Passions that have equipped you to bless us at Bethany. I can’t thank you enough for all your hard work and donating your time. I am excited to see the effects of this class soon. Thank you.”
“Dear Shirley,
I was going to ask you to send an email to the Mission Study Committee and then I found you had already done just that. You do know how to encourage people in their ministries. It is an important gift in the Body of Christ. I am so thankful for you and your ministry of equipping the saints. God bless you,”
“Shirley –You have a creative and engaging way of drawing out comments, questions and observations from a group and that was clearly demonstrated on Sunday morning in our class! You kept us focused on scripture! And you kept us on course during the discussion! Please consider coming back soon!”
